CONTEST 8000 (7+1)

The CONTEST 8000 is an oversized reel designed to face the most challenging tasks in freshwater, such as fishing for sturgeons, catfish, and other large predators. Equipped with 7+1 stainless steel shielded bearings, it guarantees impeccable smoothness even under heavy stress.

The XTS-55 composite graphite body and the reinforced rotor offer excellent torsion resistance, while the bronze pinion ensures superior durability even during the most intense fights. The micrometric front drag allows precise adjustments, essential for managing the powerful runs of sturgeons.

Includes two spools:

• A low-capacity aluminum Match spool, ideal for thin nylon and long, precise casts
• A deep-groove graphite Regular spool, perfect for thicker diameters

Thanks to the Parallel Winding System, the nylon is wound in a parallel and uniform way, improving casting performance. The V-Shape System facilitates line release, while the CNC Nail anti-twist line guide prevents tangles and breaks.
