Our story

Fishing Time was born from us, Michael and Alessia, a couple united by a deep love for nature, the mountains, and above all, sport fishing.

Our story is not that of a simple store: it is the story of a passion that has been with us since we were children, when our dads took us along the streams of Valsesia to learn our first casts, get to know the water, and respect every creature that lives there.

As we grew up, that passion never faded. When we met, it became a natural thread connecting us: we began fishing together, exploring new spots, comparing gear, and sharing the same philosophy built on respect, awareness, and a genuine love for the environment.

Why Fishing Time, it’s fishing time! was born

As anglers, we often found ourselves facing a common problem: the difficulty of finding a reliable point of reference, especially online. Too often, you do not know who is behind an e-commerce site, whether the products are up to date, or whether someone has actually tested them.

So we decided to create what we had always been missing: a store run by real anglers, for real anglers.

Fishing Time was born in Borgosesia (VC), in the heart of Valsesia and at the foot of Monte Rosa, as a local reference point for all enthusiasts in the area. Alongside the physical store, we also developed our e-shop, through which we ship throughout Italy and the European Union, always maintaining the same care and attention that we put into the store.

We are not wholesalers and we do not want to be. Every item passes through our hands: we inspect it, check it, and make sure it is perfect before it leaves. This quality control is a service we always provide free of charge, because we believe trust is built through actions, not words.

Many of the products you find in our shop are the ones we personally use on our fishing trips. That means we can recommend them from firsthand experience, not just from hearsay.

📦 Only current items, never old stock

In our catalogue, you will find exclusively 2025/2026 gear, updated and carefully selected. We do not sell museum pieces, nor old items offered at the same price as new ones. Transparency is essential to us.
